- Which form you completed and the date and time of submission
- Technical and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and how you arrived at the site (see section 6 and our Cookie Policy)
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
- Send you what you asked for, such as the free preview chapter or information about the coaching programme when it opens
- Respond to your enquiries
- Send you email updates about our books, coaching programmes and resources, but only if you ticked the box to receive them
- Understand how our website is used so we can improve it
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Lawful Basis for Processing
We process your data under the following lawful bases as defined by the UK GDPR:
- Steps at your request or legitimate interests: to send you what you asked for (the free chapter or coaching waitlist information) and to respond to your enquiries
- Consent: to send you marketing emails, only where you have ticked the email updates box. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
- Legitimate interests: to run, secure and improve our website, including collecting visit statistics (see section 6)
- Legal obligation: where we are required to keep data by law
5. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your personal data.
Our website, forms and contact records are hosted on HighLevel (HighLevel Inc, United States, also known as GoHighLevel or LeadConnector), which acts as our website host and customer relationship management (CRM) system. HighLevel processes your data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Our website also uses Cloudflare to deliver pages securely.
Agilistix Ltd runs several websites under different trading names: Debbicot Press, Carl Adamson, Author YOUR Authority and I'm A Coach Not A Marketer. Contact details from all of these sites are held in one shared CRM managed by Agilistix Ltd. We use your details only for the purposes described in this policy and the policy of the site you used.
6. Cookies and Visit Statistics
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage. HighLevel sets a cookie (msgsndr_id) and keeps a record in your browser of the pages you view and how you arrived at the site, which we use to understand how the site is used and to link any form you submit to that visit. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page visits without using cookies.
UK law, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, allows cookies used only to collect statistics about how a website is used, so it can be improved, without asking for consent, as long as we tell you clearly about them and give you a simple, free way to object. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in understanding and improving the site. To object, you can block or delete cookies and stored site data in your browser at any time, or email [email protected]. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
7. International Transfers
HighLevel is based in the United States, so your data may be transferred to and stored outside the UK. Where this happens, the transfer relies on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, so that your data stays protected to UK standards.
8. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Free chapter requests, coaching waitlist entries and enquiries: kept for 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted
- Marketing email consent: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop. After that we keep a minimal record so that we do not email you again.
- Visit statistics: the msgsndr_id cookie and browser records stay on your device until you clear them or they expire
- Legal and accounting records: kept for as long as the law requires
You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
9. Your Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data
- Restrict or object to processing, including direct marketing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at [email protected].
10. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
